So much better than I thought it would be. Color was spot on for my beach theme living room. The storage holds a ton of stuff and it is very sturdy. Shipped fast and was easy to set up. Very beautiful blue velvet color. It is pretty heavy so if you plan on moving it around a lot you might have issues. Definitely quality made.

This is a very nice piece of furniture. Right size, color and storage feature. I must say, I didn't know what to expect ordering furniture sight unseen....but HD came through, as usual. An earlier review mentioned a leg whose holes didn't line up properly....mine had the same flaw !! But I'm the only one that knows it....and I can't see it. HD dodged a bullet on that.

This ottoman looks more expensive than it is and has a beautiful sheen to the soft grey velvet fabric. As well as being a beautiful addition to our living room furniture, it's also practical as the seat is a lid and opens to a generous storage compartment where we can place magazines, the TV remotes and so forth. There is an attractive row of piping around the top section of the ottoman which makes it look classy. The piece measures about 20 inches by 20 inches square. The ottoman came in a large box and enclosed in a plastic bag to protect the fabric. Note that inside the ottoman storage compartment is another box that contains the four chrome metal legs, the bolts and washers to attach them to the bottom of the ottoman, and an Allen wrench, so no screwdriver needed!. Unfortunately one set of holes in the bottom of the ottoman did not line up properly with the holes in the metal leg and it was difficult to get the bolt to screw in. The other three were fine. I was undecided about whether I liked the appearance of the ottoman better without the legs, but it's a bit low to the ground, so attaching the legs makes it a more comfortable height. Either way, it's a very attractive addition to the living room, and useful storage as well.
